CrossFit is a training methodology that combines functional movements from weightlifting, gymnastics and endurance sports. A training session is called a WOD – Workout of the Day – where you train with a coach in a group of likeminded people. Every day is a completely new workout because routine is the enemy!
Each workout is scaled to your individual abilities with the help of your coach, so you will be challenged just right. The WOD is timed, motivating you to work harder. And the group provides a friendly competitive environment. The goal is to generate GPP – General Physical Preparedness – for your everyday life, work, and sports.
We don’t use the machines you would find in a regular gym. CrossFit movements are multi-joint, complex, and functional whole-body exercises. Every workout is supervised by an educated coach to focus on technique and movement quality. Our goal to build well-rounded, competent athletes. That’s why we also teach our members everything they need to know about mobility, recovery, and nutrition.
What’s special about myleo is the community. We are a group of likeminded people, like a sports club. We fight and suffer together, which motivates and connects us to each other.
